Last updated: 08 Mar 2025, 23:25 UTC
This page consolidates all known Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVEs) associated with pylonsproject. We track both calendar-based metrics (using fixed periods) and rolling metrics (using gliding windows) to give you a comprehensive view of security trends and risk evolution. Use these insights to assess risk and plan your patching strategy.
For a broader perspective on cybersecurity threats, explore the comprehensive list of CVEs by vendor and product. Stay updated on critical vulnerabilities affecting major software and hardware providers.
Total pylonsproject CVEs: 3
Earliest CVE date: 01 Feb 2019, 09:29 UTC
Latest CVE date: 14 Aug 2024, 21:15 UTC

365-day Count (Rolling): 1
Calendar-based Variation
Calendar-based Variation compares a fixed calendar period (e.g., this month versus the same month last year), while Rolling Growth Rate uses a continuous window (e.g., last 30 days versus the previous 30 days) to capture trends independent of calendar boundaries.
Month Variation (Calendar): 0%
Year Variation (Calendar): 0%
Month Growth Rate (30-day Rolling): 0.0%
Year Growth Rate (365-day Rolling): 0.0%
Average CVSS: 2.13
Max CVSS: 5.0

These are the five CVEs with the highest CVSS scores for pylonsproject, sorted by severity first and recency.
WebOb provides objects for HTTP requests and responses. When WebOb normalizes the HTTP Location header to include the request hostname, it does so by parsing the URL that the user is to be redirected to with Python's urlparse, and joining it to the base URL. `urlparse` however treats a `//` at the start of a string as a URI without a scheme, and then treats the next part as the hostname. `urljoin` will then use that hostname from the second part as the hostname replacing the original one from the request. This vulnerability is patched in WebOb version 1.8.8.
A vulnerability was found in Pylons horus and classified as problematic. Affected by this issue is some unknown functionality of the file horus/flows/local/services.py. The manipulation leads to observable timing discrepancy. The complexity of an attack is rather high. The exploitation is known to be difficult. The patch is identified as fd56ccb62ce3cbdab0484fe4f9c25c4eda6c57ec. It is recommended to apply a patch to fix this issue. VDB-217598 is the identifier assigned to this vulnerability.
In Pylons Colander through 1.6, the URL validator allows an attacker to potentially cause an infinite loop thereby causing a denial of service via an unclosed parenthesis.
