Focus on digitalzoomstudio vulnerabilities and metrics.
Last updated: 07 Jun 2025, 22:25 UTC
This page consolidates all known Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVEs) associated with digitalzoomstudio. We track both calendar-based metrics (using fixed periods) and rolling metrics (using gliding windows) to give you a comprehensive view of security trends and risk evolution. Use these insights to assess risk and plan your patching strategy.
For a broader perspective on cybersecurity threats, explore the comprehensive list of CVEs by vendor and product. Stay updated on critical vulnerabilities affecting major software and hardware providers.
Total digitalzoomstudio CVEs: 7
Earliest CVE date: 30 May 2014, 14:55 UTC
Latest CVE date: 08 Apr 2025, 08:15 UTC
Latest CVE reference: CVE-2025-3431
30-day Count (Rolling): 0
365-day Count (Rolling): 5
Calendar-based Variation
Calendar-based Variation compares a fixed calendar period (e.g., this month versus the same month last year), while Rolling Growth Rate uses a continuous window (e.g., last 30 days versus the previous 30 days) to capture trends independent of calendar boundaries.
Month Variation (Calendar): 0%
Year Variation (Calendar): 0%
Month Growth Rate (30-day Rolling): 0.0%
Year Growth Rate (365-day Rolling): 0.0%
Average CVSS: 2.34
Max CVSS: 7.5
Critical CVEs (≥9): 0
Range | Count |

0.0-3.9 | 5 |
4.0-6.9 | 3 |
7.0-8.9 | 1 |
9.0-10.0 | 0 |
These are the five CVEs with the highest CVSS scores for digitalzoomstudio, sorted by severity first and recency.
The ZoomSounds - WordPress Wave Audio Player with Playlist plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Arbitrary File Read in all versions up to, and including, 6.91 via the 'dzsap_download' action. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to read the contents of arbitrary files on the server, which can contain sensitive information.
The ZoomSounds plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via shortcodes in versions up to, and including, 6.91 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user supplied attributes. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers with contributor-level and above permissions to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.
The ZoomSounds - WordPress Wave Audio Player with Playlist plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized modification of data that can lead to a denial of service due to a missing capability check on the 'dzsap_delete_notice' AJAX action in all versions up to, and including, 6.91. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to update option values to 'seen' on the WordPress site. This can be leveraged to update an option that would create an error on the site and deny service to legitimate users or be used to set some values to true such as registration. There are several other functions also vulnerable to missing authorization.
The ZoomSounds - WordPress Wave Audio Player with Playlist plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to PHP Object Injection in all versions up to, and including, 6.91 via deserialization of untrusted input from the 'margs' parameter. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject a PHP Object. No known POP chain is present in the vulnerable software, which means this vulnerability has no impact unless another plugin or theme containing a POP chain is installed on the site. If a POP chain is present via an additional plugin or theme installed on the target system, it may allow the attacker to perform actions like delete arbitrary files, retrieve sensitive data, or execute code depending on the POP chain present.
The ZoomSounds plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary file uploads due to missing file type validation in the 'savepng.php' file in versions up to, and including, 5.96. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to upload arbitrary files on the affected site's server which may make remote code execution possible.
The Zoomsounds plugin <= 6.45 for WordPress allows arbitrary files, including sensitive configuration files such as wp-config.php, to be downloaded via the `dzsap_download` action using directory traversal in the `link` parameter.
The dzs-zoomsounds plugin through 2.0 for WordPress has admin/upload.php arbitrary file upload.
Multiple cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities in deploy/designer/preview.php in the Digital Zoom Studio (DZS) Video Gallery plugin for WordPress allow remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the (1) swfloc or (2) designrand parameter.
Multiple cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities in the Digital Zoom Studio (DZS) Video Gallery plugin for WordPress allow remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the logoLink parameter to (1) preview.swf, (2) preview_skin_rouge.swf, (3) preview_allchars.swf, or (4) preview_skin_overlay.swf in deploy/.
