Last updated: 18 May 2025, 22:25 UTC
This page consolidates all known Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVEs) associated with boidcms. We track both calendar-based metrics (using fixed periods) and rolling metrics (using gliding windows) to give you a comprehensive view of security trends and risk evolution. Use these insights to assess risk and plan your patching strategy.
For a broader perspective on cybersecurity threats, explore the comprehensive list of CVEs by vendor and product. Stay updated on critical vulnerabilities affecting major software and hardware providers.

365-day Count (Rolling): 1
Calendar-based Variation
Calendar-based Variation compares a fixed calendar period (e.g., this month versus the same month last year), while Rolling Growth Rate uses a continuous window (e.g., last 30 days versus the previous 30 days) to capture trends independent of calendar boundaries.
Month Variation (Calendar): 0%
Year Variation (Calendar): -75.0%
Month Growth Rate (30-day Rolling): 0.0%
Year Growth Rate (365-day Rolling): -75.0%

These are the five CVEs with the highest CVSS scores for boidcms, sorted by severity first and recency.
BoidCMS is a free and open-source flat file CMS for building simple websites and blogs, developed using PHP and uses JSON as a database. In affected versions a reflected Cross-site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability exists in the /admin?page=media endpoint in the file parameter, allowing an attacker to inject arbitrary JavaScript code. This code could be used to steal the user's session cookie, perform phishing attacks, or deface the website. This issue has been addressed in version 2.1.2 and all users are advised to upgrade. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability.
A cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the Create Page of Boid CMS v2.1.0 allows attackers to execute arbitrary web scripts or HTML via a crafted payload injected into the Content parameter.
A cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the Create Page of Boid CMS v2.1.0 allows attackers to execute arbitrary web scripts or HTML via a crafted payload injected into the Permalink parameter.
BoidCMS 2.0.1 is vulnerable to Multiple Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) issues via the title, subtitle, footer, or keywords parameter in a page=create action.
File Upload vulnerability in BoidCMS v.2.0.0 allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code by adding a GIF header to bypass MIME type checks.
